BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Long Island University women's basketball head coach Baronton Terry has added three members to his coaching staff for the 2026-27 season, the program announced on Monday. Alberto Jemperrie, Eyandra Molina, and Tiara Mitchell will all join the Shark coaching staff.
Jemperrie joins the LIU staff as an associate head coach after previously serving as the head women's basketball coach at the University of Fort Lauderdale from 2023-2026, earning NCCAA Coach of the Year honors this past season. Prior to coaching at Fort Lauderdale, Jemperrie was the head girls basketball coach at Everglades High School in Florida from 2015-2023, where he became the program's all-time winningest coach.
Jemperrie began his collegiate playing career at Daytona Beach State, then moved to the Division I level at Drake University, before concluding his collegiate career at Campbellsville University. Additionally, Jemperrie played professionally in Uruguay, Mexico, England, and Norway from 2003-2007.
Molina comes to LIU as an assistant coach, having recently been the head girls varsity basketball coach at the Dublin School in New Hampshire from 2023-25. In 2024, Molina began a role with Exodus NYC AAU, helping to develop elite-level athletes through high-intensity practices with a focus on skill refinement, pace, and physicality.
The Bronx native began her collegiate playing career at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, later playing at North Carolina Central University and Rowan University. Following her graduation from Rowan, Molina played for the Dominican Republic National Team from 2012-14.
Mitchell joins the LIU staff as an assistant coach, having previously been the head girls varsity basketball coach at W.T. White High School in Dallas, Texas from 2023-25, claiming back-to-back district championships and coach of the year honors. She has made several coaching stops throughout Texas, having been a coach at Arlington Bowie, Fort Worth Christian, and Ranger high schools.
Additionally, Mitchell held an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator role at Ranger College in Texas from 2016-17 and was a director and coach for the Texas Top Prospects AAU Organization from 2018-2022.
