PHILADELPHIA – The Long Island University women's gymnastics team (191.825) took on Temple University (194.150) Saturday afternoon in the first East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) meet of the season for the Sharks.
Sophomore Raphaëlle Perreault highlighted the day, winning the all-around category for the meet with a score of 38.125. She had career bests in vault (9.775) and uneven bars (9.55) while recording a season-best mark on the floor (9.80) as well.
Freshman
Eden Stippick scored her career best on the floor (9.70) and tied her career best in vault (9.775).
"I'm really proud of this team and their growth from last week to this week," said head coach Taylor Colwell. "Really excited to get back in the gym and continue to work on the details. This team is hungry for more."
The Sharks return to action on Saturday, Jan. 24, when they travel to Bridgeport, Connecticut. to take on the University of Bridgeport, Brown University, and Springfield College in a quad meet.
