WASHINGTON, D.C. – The LIU women's lacrosse team earned at least a share of the NEC regular season title for the second straight season after beating Howard, 13-4, on Saturday afternoon.
Julia Trainor finished the day with five points, tallying three goals and adding two assists. Trainor also scooped up 10 ground balls and won five draw controls.
Erin Harkins also scored three goals as LIU improved to 8-1 in NEC play and earned its fifth straight spot in the NEC Tournament.
