TEANECK, N.J. – Julia Trainor netted a hat trick and recorded her 100th career point, leading the Sharks to a 10-7 win over FDU on Saturday afternoon.
The junior now boasts 71 goals, 30 assists, and 101 points across 44 career games as a Shark.
LIU, which won its third game of the season, never trailed against FDU and built a 6-2 lead after scoring five unanswered goals to close the second quarter and start the third.
Goaltender Mylie Norton stopped four shots to earn her third win of the season.
LIU returns to Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium on Saturday at 11 a.m. to face Delaware State.
