Men's Hockey Sweeps Lindenwood; Sharks Earn 15th Win for Second-Straight Season

EAST MEADOW, N.Y. – Noah Rupprecht stopped 21 shots and secured back-to-back wins as the LIU men's hockey team swept Lindenwood with a 3-2 win on Friday night at the Northwell Health Ice Center.

The Sharks jumped out to a commanding 3-0 lead after Daniel Baldassarra, Chris Pappas, and Anthony Lucarelli each found the back of the net, marking LIU's 10th home win of the season.

Trent Powell blocked a pair of shots, and Rupprecht earned his team-leading eighth win as LIU reached the 15-win mark for the second consecutive season.

The Sharks return to action against Alaska Anchorage on Friday at 2 p.m. at home.
