Erie, P.A. — LIU closed out a brief two-game road trip with a 78-51 loss to Mercyhurst on Monday afternoon.
 
Just two days after matching her previous season-high of 18 points in the Sharks' Jan. 18 game against Saint Francis, Janessa Williams picked up right where she left off. The sophomore set a new season-high, this time scoring 19 while shooting 4 of 8 from downtown and pulling down 9 rebounds in the contest. Sirviva Legions added 15 points of her own.
 
LIU will return to action on Thursday, Jan. 23, playing host to Saint Francis at 7 p.m.
