A number of Sharks impressed by posting season-high marks despite the defeat.
Janessa Williams tied her season-high of 18 points on 5 of 10 shooting from the field, to go with 11 rebounds. Leading her team in both categories, Williams tallied her third double-double of the season and shot a season's best 6 of 8 from the free-throw line.
Sirviva Legions added 16 points for LIU, while grabbing a season-high 9 rebounds.
Gisela Segura excelled, tying season-high marks of 9 points and 3 assists in the contest.
Patricia Sherrill provided her team with a boost off the bench, also tying her best tallies of the campaign thus far with 6 points and 7 rebounds.
The Sharks will return to play rather quickly, visiting Mercyhurst on Monday, Jan. 20 at 1 p.m.
