LIU Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams took home a victory Monday against LeMoyne College. The Men's team won their meet 158-136 while the Women's team took home a 176-118 win home while winning every single event outside of the 100 Breast. 

LIU had solid all-round performances across the board for the first meet of the 2025  year and in the middle of the winter training. The Sharks just got back from Coral Springs Training Trip and took on Dolphins the next day while being successful quickly thereafter. 

Top performers for LIU Women's include Adamantia Gkelis in the 50-yard backstroke with an impressive time at 27.06, Gabriela Lima in the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 31.09, and Emma Koehler in the 200-yard freestyle at a time of 2:01.11.

On the Men's side, Daniel Chocano earned first place in the 50-yard backstroke, and Maksym Wozny finished first in the 1,000-yard freestyle race with a time of 10:05.38. 

LIU will be back in the pool against St. Peter's Friday afternoon at 3:00pm.
