HAMBURG, N.J. — The LIU women's golf team participated in the FDU Knights Invitational this week and posted a very solid sixth place team finish out of fifteen teams.

Emily Byrne was the best LIU golfer, posting a top ten finish at T8, shooting +12 (81, 74, 73). She shot the third most birdies of the tournament with seven.

Hailey Holbdy was the second best Shark, finishing T28 with a score of +27 (74, 81, 88).

Simran Singh was close behind, finishing T34 and shooting +29 (87, 78, 80).

The Sharks will return for the NEC Championships on April 19 at Callaway Resort & Gardens' Lake View Course in Pine Mountain, Ga.
