BROOKVILLE, N.Y. –
Hailey Holbdy of the Long Island University women's golf team has been selected to participate in the 2025 PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship (PWCC) presented by Chase and Kohler, hosted by the PGA of America REACH Foundation. The 38
th edition of the PWCC will be contested May 5-7 on the Straits and Irish courses at famed Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin.
"I'm beyond proud of Hailey's hard work this year, culminating in her representing LIU at this prestigious event," said head coach Sara Detlefsen. "The honor of being chosen to showcase her skills as a golfer on this unique stage is so great, and I encourage all who are able to tune in to take part in celebrating her involvement with the event."
Dubbed "The Most Culturally Significant Championship in Collegiate Golf," the PWCC field consists of 27 teams and 45 individuals for a total of 180 players representing Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Hispanic-serving institutions, and other Minority-serving institutions.
