Olivia Fantigrossi scored six goals in LIU's 20-3 win over Central Connecticut State on Saturday afternoon.
The Sharks took an 11-2 lead into halftime thanks to goals from Fantigrossi,
Rachel Weber,
Jen Gaffney,
Amanda Weber,
Pierson Schuchart,
Erin Harkins, and
Julia Trainor.
Trainor finished the game with four goals.
Lindsey Lucia had four assists, and
Jenna Lewis had three.
Harkins had a five-point game. The sophomore scored two goals and had five assists.
Melissa Esswein found the back of the net in the victory, and goalie
Mylie Norton stopped six shots for the Sharks.
LIU next plays at home against FDU on Wednesday in its regular season finale.
