BROOKVILLE, N.Y — The LIU acrobatics & tumbling team hosted nationally ranked Baylor in its first-ever home meet in program history.
The Sharks, led by first year head coach
Shelby Armstrong, set a new program record with 242.675 points as the took on the bears in the Pratt Recreation Center.
"We scored ten points higher than our last meet, and we continue to progress through the season with start values and execution," said Armstrong. "We are pleased with our performance, it's a good start to the second half of our season, and we are looking forward to getting back out there and competing."
LIU hosts Presbyterian Thursday, Mar. 16 at 6p.m., in the Pratt Recreation Center.
