BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The good times kept on rolling for the LIU men's volleyball team as it its seventh match in a row on Saturday in a three set sweep of Sacred Heart (25-23, 25-18, 25-21).
The first set was a back and forth battle for a bit until LIU pulled away late and won it on an
Arthur Sueur kill.
From there the momentum was all in LIU's favor as it went on to take sets two and three without much of a sweat.
Chase Celichowski led the team in kills with nine, followed by
Livan Moreno with eight and
Kale Spencer with seven.
Moreno had a team-high five digs.
Roei Horovitz led the team in assists with 29
Spencer and
Kasey Clouet were tied for the team lead with five blocks a piece.
The Sharks return to the court Friday when they host Daemen for Pride Night/Senior Night.
