OVERTIME THRILLER! Men's Lacrosse Scores Six Unanswered Goals, Wins 12-11 in Overtime

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. — The LIU men's lacrosse team scored five unanswered goals in a snowy fourth quarter against Siena before Owen Stefanko won it for the Sharks in overtime.

Ben McIsaac's goal in the opening minute of the third quarter pulled the Sharks within four after trailing 7-2 at halftime.

Mark Regan found the back of the net just over two minutes later to make it a three-goal game.

But Siena responded and came up with a pair of goals, eventually taking a 9-4 lead.

The Sharks found themselves trailing 11-6 with ten minutes to play, and that's when the comeback started.

Zander Hauck, Mark Regan, Tom von Bargen, and Tyler Davide scored four goals in six minutes, bringing LIU within one at 11-10.

Sean Boll scored the biggest goal of his LIU career when he found the back of the net with two seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 12, sending it to overtime.

And that's when Owen Stefanko stepped up. The redshirt junior scored the overtime winner and lifted the Sharks to a 12-11 win over the Saints.

Aidan Zuhoski, Jake Lewis, and Cam Connolly also scored goals for the Sharks in their sixth win of the season.

LIU improves to 3-0 in MAAC play and 6-1 overall.
