BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — The LIU women's lacrosse team is back in the win column after its 16-6 win against Howard on Saturday.
The Sharks had eight goal scorers in the afternoon, and once again,
Olivia Fantigrossi was among them.
The Port Jefferson Station native scored the first two goals of the game, marking the second time this season that Fantigrossi, a senior, had a four-goal performance.
Jen Gaffney scored a season-high three goals, while
Jenna Lewis,
Pierson Schuchart, and
Ava Taylor each scored two goals.
Additionally,
Ryan McAllister,
Erin Harkins, and
Lindsey Lucia contributed a goal each.
The Sharks will next play at Delaware on Mar. 23 before returning home for a Wednesday afternoon matchup against Wagner on Mar. 27.
Junior goalkeeper
Mylie Norton finished the game with six saves and picked up her first win of the season.
