BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — The LIU men's lacrosse team won its fifth-straight game after knocking off Mount Saint Mary's 13-6 at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Tom von Bargen and
Owen Stefanko scored the first two goals of the game, and
Sean Boll, who scored three goals in the afternoon, added a second-quarter tally as LIU took an 8-4 lead into halftime.
The Sharks scored three-straight goals to open the third quarter, with
Ben McIsaac scoring two of them. The freshman finished the game with four goals.
von Bargen finished the day with four goals,
Jasper Simon made six saves, and
Shaun Hill went 14-22 in the face-off circle.
LIU next plays at Siena on Saturday, Mar. 23, and at Wagner on Wednesday, Mar. 27, before returning home to host Sacred Heart on Mar. 30.
