EAST MEADOW, N.Y. — The LIU men's hockey received a pair of goals from Nolan Welsh and defeated Stonehill, 7-2, on Friday afternoon at Northwell Health Ice Center.

The Sharks scored the game's opening four goals before the Skyhawks struck late in the second period.

Goaltender Brandon Perrone made 16 saves in the victory.

LIU has won all seven meetings against Stonehill this season.

The Sharks conclude the home portion of their 2023-24 schedule when they again host Stonehill on Saturday at 2 p.m. A Senior Day ceremony will precede the puck drop.
