Janessa Williams Scores Season-High 18 Points Against VCU

Richmond, V.A. — LIU fell to VCU on Saturday afternoon, losing 72-42.
 
Janessa Williams was a standout performer for the Sharks despite the loss. The sophomore scored a season-high 18 points on 7 of 13 from the field, sinking a season-high four shots from long range. She also led the team with 9 rebounds, grabbing at least 9 for the third consecutive contest.
 
LIU will return to play on Monday, Dec. 30, hosting NJIT at 7 p.m.
