BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — Ethan Greenwood and
Michael Love have been named the NEC Offensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively, after leading the LIU football team to a 35-28 win over Wagner in the Sharks' season finale.
Greenwood showcased his versatility by rushing for two touchdowns and catching a 64-yard touchdown pass from
Chris Howell, who entered the game as a situational quarterback.
In addition to his rushing and receiving efforts, Greenwood completed 8 of 12 passes for 129 yards. The redshirt sophomore also ran for 133 yards on 18 carries, including two touchdowns.
Love earned Special Teams Player of the Week honors with a game-changing 94-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the second quarter to put the Sharks ahead by two scores.
The Sharks wrapped their season 3-3 in conference play.
