Miami, Fla. – The Sharks fell to FIU on Saturday, coming up short in a 20-3 defeat.
LJ Hall and
Jackson Barry, did however, emerge as bright spots for LIU on the defensive end. Each player finished with a team-high 10 tackles (3 solo, 7 assisted apiece) to match a Sharks season-high mark. They became the second and third players for LIU to amass double-digit tackles this season, after reigning NEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week
Rafael Fasolino (who finished with five tackles against FIU) had done so twice previously this season.
Luca Stanzani completed 9 of 20 attempts for 109 yards for LIU in the contest.
The Sharks will return to play Saturday, Oct. 3, hosting Mercyhurst for the start of NEC play at 12 p.m.
