LIU Football Battles Saint Francis As Part Of Senior Day Festivities

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — The Sharks hosted Senior Day as part of its last home game of the season on Saturday, losing to Saint Francis 34-27.
 
The first half featured a 96-yard kickoff return by Michael Love at the 12:51 mark in the second quarter, giving LIU an early 14-7 lead. The two sides were tied 17-17 heading into the second half.
 
Luca Stanzani also made a big impact for the Sharks, rushing for two touchdowns in the game.
 
LIU will match up against Wagner on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 12 p.m. in its next game.
