MANKATO, Minn. — Anya Weilandt scored the lone goal for LIU as the Sharks wrapped up their two-game road trip against Mankato on Saturday night.
 
Weilandt found the back of the net on the power play, thanks to a stellar setup from Bri Eid in the opening minutes of the third period. Weilandt finished the game with a team-high six shots.
 
Jeannie Waller recorded four shots, while Paige Vreeman also finished with four.
 
LIU fell short against the Mavericks, losing 4-1, and next plays at Stonehill on Oct. 11.
