Pat Bowen continued to shine in the backfield for LIU, turning a short screen pass into a 24-yard touchdown reception as the Sharks took a 17-7 lead into halftime.
Greenwood finished the game with 120 passing yards, two touchdowns, and 80 rushing yards in LIU's Week 9 win.
Michael Love also delivered a standout performance for the Sharks. Love hauled in six catches for 85 yards.
The Sharks' defense stepped up big on the final drive of the game, stopping CCSU on fourth-and-four at midfield to lift LIU to its second win of the season.
Jahvonte Hair finished the game with a team-high five solo tackle.
LIU next plays at Sacred Heart on Nov. 9, before returning home to host Saint Francis U on Nov. 16 for its final home game of the season.
