WALTHAM, Mass. — The LIU men's hockey team wrapped up its two-game series against Bentley on Saturday night in Waltham, Mass.
Carter Rapelje scored on the power play with less than three minutes left in regulation to cut LIU's deficit to one.
Josh Zary had a team-high four shots and also went 13-for-20 in the faceoff circle.
Daniel Duris was sharp in net for the Sharks, making 30 saves on the evening.
LIU fell short 3-1 to the Falcons.
The Sharks continue their 10-game road trip with a pair of games at Notre Dame this Friday and Saturday.
