SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Riley Wallack, Sixten Jennersjö, and
Carter Rapalje each found the back of the net in the Sharks' 3-2 win against Augustana on Saturday night.
Wallack's first-period tally put the Sharks ahead 1-0 with under four minutes left in the opening frame.
Jennersjö then scored his first career regular season goal as a Shark in the opening minutes of the second period, giving LIU a 2-0 lead.
Rapalje's third-period goal ultimately became the game-winner for LIU as the Sharks split the two-game series with Augustana, picking up their first regular-season win of the 2024-25 season.
Daniel Duris stopped 21 shots on the night and earned his first win in net in a Sharks uniform.
Freshman
Luca Leighton recorded two assists, while
Valtteri Piironen was solid defensively, blocking five shots.
Isaiah Fox finished the game with a team-high seven shots on goal.

LIU next plays Friday and Saturday night at Bentley before continuing their 10-game road trip at Notre Dame on Oct. 25.
