WALTHAM, Mass. — The LIU men's hockey team improved to 3-1 on the season after its 2-1 shootout win against Bentley on Friday night.
Freshman
Isaac Lambert's game-tying goal with just over a minute left in the second period tied the game at one.
Chris Pappas and
Cade Mason provided assists on Lambert's second-period tally.
LIU eventually pulled away 1-0 in the five-round shootout, thanks to J.R. Perdion's game-winner.
Daniel Duris picked up his second win of the season for LIU.
Both teams are back on the ice tomorrow at 7 p.m.
