BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The LIU men's volleyball team opened up its home schedule on Saturday night when it welcomed Lindenwood to the Steinberg Wellness Center.
This match was an absolute battle in every set, it seemed like neither team was able to keep a rally going. The second set had 64 combined points when Lindenwood took the victory 33-31. Unfortunately for the Sharks, multiple challenges and bounces went Lindenwood's way as they dropped the match in three sets (23-25, 33-31, 23-25).
Kale Spencer had a team-high nine kills, followed by
Livan Moreno who recorded eight.
Roei Horovitz led the team in both assists (26) and digs (seven).
Joseph Nunez tallied five digs.
Arthur Sueur led LIU with five total blocks.
The Sharks return to the court on Friday when they travel to take on Loyala Chicago at 8 p.m. ET.
