WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — The LIU track and field teams had success in two different states in recent days.

At the Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, Va.:

• Connor Knight produced four top-10 finishes, achieving fifth in the hammer throw (38.95m), sixth in the discus throw (36.40), eighth in the shot put (10.81) and ninth in the javelin throw (35.85)

• Josephine Critchley placed second in the 10000m run (38:56.10)

• Faith Shaw finished second in the discus throw invitational (39.26m)

• Tess Duignan finished seventh in the 1500m run invitational (4:37.80)

• Rali Mihaylova won the 1500m run (4:42.35) in the open category

And at the 95th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin:

• Ainhoa Brea finished third in the 3000 steeplechase (10:31.64)

• Elyas Ayyoub was 10th in the 5000m (14:46.60)
