Women's Lacrosse Tested Against Stonehill in Battle With Skyhawks

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — Olivia Fantigrossi scored four goals in the Sharks' 15-11 loss to Stonehill.

LIU opened up to a 3-1 first quarter lead after a pair of Fantigrossi goals.

Stonehill would pull away to a 7-4 halftime lead.

The Sharks scored three-straight goals to pull with 10-8 to end the third quarter after Rachel Weber and Julia Trainor scored their only goals of the game. 

Pierson Schuchart's fourth quarter goal pulled the Sharks within one before the Skyhawks scored three-straight goals. 

LIU next plays on Saturday for its Senior Day against Sacred Heart.
