RIVERDALE, N.Y. — Sean Boll recorded a hat trick and the LIU men's lacrosse team went toe-to-toe with Manhattan. But the Sharks ultimately fell, 14-10, at Gaelic Park.

LIU never led. But the Sharks had pulled within 10-9 as Boll scored with nine second remaining in the third quarter, then again 38 seconds into the fourth quarter.

LIU dropped to 4-3 in the MAAC.

The Sharks next host Marist on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium. A Senior Day ceremony will precede the game.
