BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — The LIU men's lacrosse team rallied from a three-goal deficit to defeat Siena 13-11 at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium.
The Sharks, which trailed 7-4, sparked a late second-quarter rally thanks to a pair of goals by
Sean Boll and
Austin McMahon.
Boll's 13th goal of the season tied the game at seven with 7:43 left to play in the third quarter.
Nick Colantonio gave LIU its first lead of the game one minute later.
Brad Beck scored with less than one second left in the third quarter to give the Sharks a 10-8 lead heading into the final frame.
The Sharks added three fourth-quarter goals from Boll, Beck, and
James Butler.
LIU had nine players find the back of the net on Saturday afternoon.
Sean Gillman made 11 saves against Siena.
LIU hosts Wagner at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
