BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — The LIU gymnastics team finished second of four teams at a Sharks-hosted quad meet on Monday at Pratt Recreation Center.

Towson won with a score of 196.350, followed by LIU at 195.775, Brown at 194.125 and Bridgeport at 191.875.

Syd Morris and Jah'Liyah Bedminster led the Sharks on the vault with 9.875 scores.

Mara Titarsolej had a meet-best 9.950 on the uneven bars.

Morris had a 9.900 on the beam.

And Katy Koopman led the way on the floor exercise with a 9.850.

The Sharks return to action Sunday, hosting NC State and Temple at 2 p.m.
