DURHAM, N.H. — The LIU women's gymnastics team scored a season-high 195.100 at Sunday's EAGL quad meet.
However, the Sharks ran into stiff competition and finished fourth.
North Carolina won the meet with a score of 196.275. The Tar Heels were followed by host New Hampshire at 195.900 and then George Washington (195.375).
Individually,
Syd Morris led the way for the Sharks on the vault, scoring 9.775.
Mara Titarsolej continued her excellence on the uneven bars, scoring 9.950.
On the beam,
Ilka Juk led the way at 9.825.
And on the floor,
Ella Barrington scored a team-best 8.850.
LIU next hosts Towson on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Pratt Recreation Center.
