EASTON, M.A.— Amaris Smith and the LIU women's volleyball team have clinched a spot in the NEC playoffs with a big win over Stonehill on Saturday.
The Sharks came out absolutely firing in the first set, taking it 25-9. That would set the tone for the rest of the match as LIU never looked back and continued to dominate.

Camelia Melendez,
Bria Plante,
Indira Benitez, and
Rumur Rouille were stellar on the offensive side of the combining for 37 kills.
Rouille led the Sharks with 2.5 blocks followed by Benitez who had two.
Selina Koç led LIU with 22 assists., followed by
Allie Merz who had nine.
Alasha Colon returned to form and played a very nice match, recording 19 digs.
The Sharks return to the court on Friday when they host LeMoyne at 6 p.m. on Senior Day.
