Glascoe had a pair of rushing touchdowns as well as a 6-yard pass to
Leak Bryant as the LIU football team built a two-touchdown lead in the first half en route to a 23-13 victory against Sacred Heart on homecoming at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium on Saturday.
The Sharks earned their first win of the season and evened their NEC record at 1-1.
Playing in a driving rainstorm, LIU rushed for 168 yards.
Pat Bowen led the way with 13 carries for 74 yards.
"They gave up a lot of gaps, so we took advantage of it," Bowen said. "Whatever keeps working, we're going to keep doing that."
Before the homecoming game, a pregame ceremony honored the memory of legendary football coach Bryan Collins. Collins' wife Patti and children Tyler and Megan joined a large number of Collins' former players in celebrating his life and legacy.
