STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The LIU women's track and field team continued its successful 2022-23 season with several high finishes at the Villanova Invitational.
 
Josephine Critchley finished eighth (10:27.64) in the 3000m run, her highest finish in said event this season.
 
Tess Duignan (2:15.00) and Rali Mihaylova (2:19.67) were fifth and sixth, respectively, in the 800m run.
 
Camille Watson and London Claxton finished inside the top-20 in the 400m dash.
 
Faith Shaw was seventh (15.55m) in the weighted throw.
 
LIU returns to action at the Empire State Classic in Staten Island on Jan. 29.
