DEPTFORD, N.J. — LIU women's bowling took part in its first meet of the calendar year and won two against high-level opponents.
The Sharks had wins over Adelphi and Wisconsin-Whitewater to move their overall record to 17-25.
Brittany Lucci bowled two matches over 200 to lead the team, notching a 217 in the third match of the weekend.
Sarah Orensky was consistent all weekend and did not finish below 171 in all five matches.
LIU returns to action on February 4 at the Griffin Baker Classic in New Castle, Del.
