IRVINE, Calif. — The LIU men's water polo began its road stretch in California with a 24-11 loss to Westcliff on Wednesday afternoon.
The Sharks outscored Westcliff, 5-4, in the fourth period.
Logan Morgan led the offense with four goals, and
Angelos Koutsogeorgas continued his contribution with three.
Ethan Zirh had seven saves.
Liam Schlosser played eight minutes and recorded three saves.
LIU will next take part in the Gary Troyer Tournament beginning on Friday. Their first opponent is Occidental at 5 p.m. E.T.
