KINGSTON, R.I. — LIU volleyball wrapped up its trip to the Art Carmichael Invitational on Saturday.
The Sharks fell to the host school, Rhode Island, 3-0 on Saturday morning.
The first two sets were within reach, with LIU leading 22-21 in the opening set.
Karolina Nova led the offense with 10 kills, and
Katie Berg had a .455 hitting percentage with five kills on 11 swings.
Celine Mukura and
Olivia Lucia each registered two blocks.
Up next is the first home match of the season on Wednesday when the Sharks welcome Manhattan at 7 p.m.
