ALBANY, N.Y. – The women's water polo team traveled upstate on Wednesday evening to take on the Saints of Siena and ended up winning 13-4 to go 22-5 on the season and 11-1 in the MAAC play.

• The Sharks came out fighting, surging ahead of the Saints 9-1 before halftime and then adding four more in the second half while holding Siena to just three to take the game 13-4.
• Leading the Sharks offensively were Kate Hinrichs and Paula Dominguez, each putting three goals into the cage.
• Five other LIU players scored as well, including Jeannet Garcia and Elena Camarena who each scored two.
• Julia Zebak was in the goal the entire game for the Sharks and had seven saves for a .636 save percentage.
• Up next, the Sharks take on Wagner College and Iona College on Friday, April 15 at home in the LIU pool at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. respectively for their last two home games of the season.
