JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The LIU men's volleyball team traveled to warmer weather this weekend to take on the Tigers of Edward Waters University, winning 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 26-24). The Sharks hit .341 percent as a team for the match.
 
SHARK BITES

• LIU started the first set with a strong swinging win, hitting .448 percent on the set and holding Edward Waters to just .12 percent and winning 25-22 to take the 1-0 match lead. The Sharks would then take set two 25-23, and then despite the third set being pushed to an extra point, LIU won 26-24 to grab the 3-0 match win.
• Luke Chandler led with 10 kills for the Sharks.
• Hasan Hadžic, Giomar Collazo, Sage Gatling, and Caden Satterfield all totaled eight kills in the match. Hadžic hit .700 percent, Collazo hit .583, and Gatling hit .462 percent.
• Setters Luca Holanda and Kasey Clouet had 19 and 16 assists respectively for the evening.
• The Sharks face off against the Tigers again tomorrow, Monday, March 28 at 1 p.m.
