HACKENSACK, N.J. – The LIU men's volleyball team took on NJIT for the second night a row, this time in Hackensack, where they ended up dropping 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-22) to the Highlanders.
 
SHARK BITES

• Sophomore middle Hasan Hadžic was the offensive leader for LIU with 10 kills, a third night in a row hitting double-digits. He also had one block and six digs for the match.
• Freshman Giomar Collaza led defensively for the Shark and had 10 digs as well as two assists.
• Jordan Cooper, junior outside hitter, had nine kills, one block, one assist, and two digs for the night.
• Freshman setter Luca Holanda notched 20 assists along with six digs for the Sharks.
• Up next, the Sharks head to Honolulu, Hawai'i to take on the University of Hawai'i on February 8, 9, and 11.
