Men’s Volleyball Battles with NJIT Highlanders

NEWARK, N.J. – The LIU men's volleyball team took on NJIT Friday night in Newark, where the Sharks fell 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-18) to the Highlanders.
 
SHARK BITES
  • The Sharks were led by Hasan Hadžic, who, for the second night in a row had double digit kills. The sophomore middle had 15 kills, hitting.333. He also had three blocks and two digs.
  • Junior Caden Satterfield had eight kills, one block, and four digs for the Sharks.
  • Freshman setter Luca Holanda had 24 assists during the match, and also led the Sharks defensively with five digs.
  • The Sharks take on the NJIT Highlanders in a rematch in Hackensack, N.J., Saturday, February 5 at 7 p.m.
