BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The LIU men's volleyball team took on Saint Francis U on Sunday afternoon in the Steinberg Wellness Center, falling 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-23) to the visiting Red Flash.

• Saint Francis got off to a fast start in the first set, pulling away midway through and keeping a comfortable lead before claiming the set 25-16.
• In the second set LIU led until the score became tied at 21-21 when the Red Flash remained cool under pressure and picked up the last six points of the set to win it 25-21, leading the game 2-0.
• The third set was a similar story, with the Sharks and SFU jostling back and forth for the lead, until ultimately SFU grabbed with 25-23 victory for the set and the 3-0 game win.
• Sophomore middle Hasan Hadžic led for the Sharks with six kills hitting .313 percent and had four blocks.
• Up next, the Sharks travel to California to play the University of California, Santa Barbara on Friday, March 4 at 7 p.m.
