Redshirt sophomore Jacob Johnson scored a game-high 22 points in LIU's first home game in the Steinberg Wellness Center after a dense three game road trip.

LIU fired on all cylinders on Thursday afternoon and Johnson was a big reason why. The guard scored 14 first half points and led the Sharks to a 13-0 scoring run just before the break.

The Sharks continued their dominance with a sharp second half performance. Five players scored double digits, including LIU's leading scorer, Marko Maletic, who put up 21 points on Thursday afternoon.

R.J. Greene also shined against Purchase. The freshman scored 12 points in 34 minutes of action. C.J. Delancy and Andre Washington each scored 10 points, while Tre Booker finished with nine.

LIU starts conference play Dec. 29 against Wager at the Barclays Center.
