NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. — The LIU women's volleyball team's trip to Massachusetts was an unequivocal success.
The Sharks produced a straight-set victory for the second straight day, this time topping host Merrimack, 25-16, 25-10, 25-15, on Saturday.
That win came on the heels of a three-set victory at NEC newcomer Stonehill on Friday,
The Sharks now sit at 9-8 overall and have a share of the conference lead at 4-1.
LIU has won four straight matches since dropping the conference opener at 2021 tournament champion Sacred Heart.
On Saturday,
Karolina Nova produced 13 kills,
Allie Merz had 21 assists and Barbora Hošková
led three Sharks in double figures in digs with 15.
LIU returns home to face Saint Francis U on Friday at 5 p.m. at Steinberg Wellness Center.
