LIU pushed back and stayed within reach and trailed 1-0 at halftime.
Penn (2-8) scored late in the third quarter to push the lead to 2-0.
"We knew today's game was going to be a tough one," coach
Raenee Savin said. "Our coaching staff was proud of the game we played. We worked hard and stuck with the game plan. We just need to find a way to put the ball in the back of the net."
