STORRS, Conn. – The LIU men's basketball team took on Big East foe UConn on the road Wednesday night, falling to the Huskies, 93-40.

• Senior Isaac Kante led the Sharks with 17 points, going 6-for-12 from the field, with nine rebounds.
• He was the only Shark in double figures, as LIU shot 27.5 percent from the field in the loss.
• Ty Flowers had six rebounds for LIU, while Eral Penn had six points and two blocks, along with two rebounds.
