BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The LIU volleyball team capped the regular season with a 3-0 win at home Saturday, beating FDU 25-19, 25-20, 25-22. With the win, LIU finishes the year with a 10-4 record in the Northeast Conference, and will be the #3 seed in next weekend's NEC Tournament.

• Prior to the game, the Sharks honored seniors Anisa Lopez, Jovana Stekovic and Anastasia Scott.
• Stekovic and Karolina Nova both had 10 kills to lead LIU's offensive charge.
• Nova hit .368 on the day.
• Barbora Hoskova had eight kills and 11 digs, along with four blocks.
• Sophomore setter Allie Merz had 33 assists, 10 digs and three blocks at the net.
• Scott had 24 digs, four assists and a service ace for LIU.
• Freshman Rumur Rouille had five blocks at the net.
• The Sharks finished the regular season with an undefeated 7-0 record in the Steinberg Wellness Center.
• Up next, LIU will take part in the 2021 Northeast Conference Tournament, Friday, November 19 and Saturday, November 20.
