BROOKLYN, N.Y. - The LIU volleyball team maintained its perfect home record Friday night, avenging yet another road loss from earlier in the season. This time, the Sharks swept Saint Francis U. 3-0, beating the Red Flash 25-22, 28-26, 26-24. With the win, LIU moves to 9-4 in the Northeast Conference, redeeming a 3-2 road loss to SFU earlier in the season.

• Senior Jovana Stekovic led lIU with 16 kills, along with two blocks, a service ace and nine digs.
• Both Barbora Hoskova and Allie Merz had two service aces for the Sharks.
• Junior Miranda Strongmann had a game-high four blocks, while freshman Katie Berg added three.
• Sophomore setter Allie Merz had 34 assists.
• Senior libero Anastasia Scott had 21 digs to lead the defense.
• Hoskova also added 11 digs for LIU in the win.
